Hi all! I've been quite a busy beaver! I can't believe I even pulled together a meager Christmas for me and my boys this year. All the Christmas orders have been received...hopefully they are being enjoyed.
I love Christmas morning. Even though our families couldn't be with us this year (everyone still lives in the winter wonderland they call Pennsylvania), it brings me such joy to know that little black "Blazer Arts" boxes are being opened all over. It makes me feel connected...makes me so happy to know that so many people are seeing their new jewelry for the first time and being given their special gifts from a loved one.
It's been quite the year! We welcomed our new little boy into the world (he's the best, happiest little boy), my husband landed his Assistant Professorship position (I couldn't be prouder), and we've bought a house and moved. In the middle of that, my jewelry was selected to be featured in the gift suites at the 2009 Emmy Awards. So with all the craziness I never got the chance to publish "who got what" from the Emmy's. Morgan Fairchild received the 14K white gold and black silver Pearl Nouveau Cuff Bracelet (a personal favorite of mine) and Joselyn Pennywell loved the Tahitian Lotus Necklace so much she went home with it on her neck! It was a most flattering experience and I am so honored to have been a part of it.
So what does next year hold? Hopefully no more moving--I never want to do that again! At the moment, I am painting pretty much every surface in our new house. The walls were all a pale pink and in a household of three boys (my two little ones and my husband) pink just isn't going to fly. So here's to the slow methodical erradication of pink and here's to moving in an always possitive direction!
